KENYA HEADOFFICE 

Wilfred MUTISYA – Senior Associate – Corporate Strategy

Wilfred joined the Spiro team on 4 September 2023 as a senior associate -corporate strategy (CEO office). He holds a master’s degree in international management and Sustainability from Sciences Po Paris, specialising in building sustainable business models and leveraging private finance for social and environmental positive outcomes. He has recently been working as an ESG management trainee at Arise IIP - a pan-African industrial developer of low-carbon Special Economic Zones with a presence in over 10 African countries. Wilfred is passionate about driving socio-economic growth in the African continent and improving the quality of life of communities through green growth. He is excited to contribute to Spiro's mission to decarbonise Africa's transportation sector and scale the use of clean energy in the continent and beyond.

Arnaud VALENTIN – Head of Fundraising and Strategic Partnerships

Arnaud Valentin joined Spiro on September 1st, 2023, as Head of Fundraising and Financing Partnerships. Before joining Spiro, Arnaud was an Associate Director at GuarantCo, where he was responsible for originating, executing and managing new transactions, as well as restructuring stressed assets across Africa and Asia. At GuarantCo he was based for six years in London, followed by 1.5 years in Nairobi. Before GuarantCo, Arnaud was based in Cameroon, Gabon and Angola as a business developer for Jumia, a listed Pan-African e-commerce company. He started his banking career with ICAP, the largest interdealer brokerage company worldwide, as an analyst on the interest rate options desk. Arnaud holds a Master’s in Management and an MSc in Financial Markets from EDHEC Business School. 

KENYA OPERATIONS

Irene WANGA – Administration Executive

Irene Wanga has joined the Kenyan team as Executive administrator. She will be overseeing all administration activities in the Kenyan office. She has extensive experience of over 15 years of working for start-ups, and organizations in the hospitality, and manufacturing industries as well as administration in an LPG company. She has a diploma in hotel management and is also pursuing a part-time bachelor’s degree with a customer-centric and administration background. Her greatest strengths are in organisation and coordination.

Jobbic MANGALE - Stores Supervisor

Jobbic Mangale joined Spiro on 18th August 2023. He holds a Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Management from Mombasa Polytechnic University College. Jobbic has worked with companies including Mombasa Water Supply & Sanitation Ltd, Kwale County Government, Kaluworks Ltd and Abyssinia Group of Industries. He has worked in different capacities with enthusiasm.

Wycliffe ODHIAMBO – Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor

Wycliffe joined Spiro on 28 August 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nairobi in Purchasing and Supplies Management and a higher Diploma in Information Technology from Kenya Institute of Professional Studies. Wycliffe has worked with different local and Multinational Companies like Crown Paints Kenya Limited, Avery Dennison Kenya (PVT) Limited, Print Store Kenya Limited, Proto Energy Limited, and recently Abyssinia Group of Industries. He has worked in different supervisory and Managerial positions and is very passionate about his roles.

Marilene GAYA – Head of Marketing

Marilene joined Spiro on 4th Sep 2023.She holds Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Daystar University.Before joining Spiro, Marilene was working at BBOXX Kenya in Marketing Department.Her role included shaping product development and pricing strategies while vigilantly monitoring evolving market trends.

Kshjit SHARMA – Profit Centre Head

Kshitij joined Spiro on 8th September 2023 as Profit Center Head- Kenya. He brings with him experience across Automobile, Consumer Durables and IT industry experience.Prior to Spiro, he worked as Country Head- East Africa region with Hero Motor Corp Ltd, the largest two wheeler manufacturer. He has experience in Indian domestic markets as Regional Channel Manager in Lenovo India and Area Sales Manager- in Samsung India Electronics. In TVS Motors he was Country Manager, East Africa, 2w and 3w. Kshitij holds an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune and a Bachelors in Technology from Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune.An avid reader, Kshitij does enjoy cricket and an occasional game of squash.

BENIN

Mylène DOEVI – Talent Acquisition Manager

Mylène DOEVI has joined September 04, 2023, as Talent Acquisition Manager. With experience, Mylène specialises in talent hunting, and before joining us, she worked for companies such as MANGOPAY, LEETCHI and ESENS, in France . Mylene holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Universite Internationale de Tunis and a Masters degree in Human Resources and Training from Universite Polytechnique Hauts-de France. It is, therefore, a real pleasure for us to welcome her in our family, as a new Spironet. We're delighted to have her on board and wish her every success in her new role.

RWANDA

Byukusenge

Byukusenge Pacifique has joined September 04th, 2023, as Health and officer. With experience, Pacifique specializes in health and Safety and before joining us, he worked for companies such as Gasabo 3D Amahoro Stadium, Netafim Gah Hub, REL Rusizi Hydropower project, ASB Kivu 56 Methane Gas and Andrtz Hydro. Pacifique holds a advanced diploma in Civil Engineering.  He worked very well in multiply roles with passion and diligence. It is, therefore, a real pleasure for us to welcome him in our family, as a new Spironet. We're delighted to have him on board and wish him every success in his new role.  

UGANDA

Mucunguzi Bruce has joined August 14th, 2023, as Head of Commercial. With experience, Bruce a broad and extensive experience in Sales and Marketing and before joining us, he worked for companies such as Mantra Motorbike East Africa Limited, Verma Co. Limited, Nile fishing Limited, Vivid Innovation Limited, Ssamuc company limited, Office prime Minister, Esso Limited and Essol Limited. Bruce holds Bsc. .Math Economics and Statistics.  He has worked in different Managerial positions and is very passionate about sales and marketing. It is, therefore, a real pleasure for us to welcome him in our family, as a new Spironet. We're delighted to have him on board and wish him every success in him new role.

Henry Omella has joined September 06th, 2023 as Assembly Supervisor. With experience, Henry has a good experience in mechanics and before joining us, he worked for companies such as Mantra Motorbikes East Africa Limited, Nish Auto Limited, Yuraj Auto Limited and car and General Limited. He has worked in different roles with a great passion in mechanics. It is, therefore, a real pleasure for us to welcome him in our family, as a new Spironet. We're delighted to have him on board and wish him every success in him new role.

Mugabe Isaac has joined September 01st, 2023 as Repossession Supervisor. With experience, Isaac has a diverse experience and before joining us he worked for Makboda Uganda Limited, Yuft Metal Works Project, Equity Bank Uganda and Prevention of GANG Violence. Isaac worked very well in both managerial and supervisory roles with passion and diligence. Mugabe holds a Bachelor of Science in Population Studies from Makerere University Kampala.  It is, therefore, a real pleasure for us to welcome him in our family, as a new Spironet. We're delighted to have him on board and wish him every success in his new role.

Kibuuka Fred has joined September 01st, 2023, as Electricity Connection Supervisor. Fred holds two degrees in Electrical Engineering and before joining us he worked for UMEME Uganda and Uganda Electricity Transmission co ltd. Fred holds two degrees in Electrical Engineering. It is, therefore, a real pleasure for us to welcome him to our family, as a new Spironet. We're delighted to have him on board and wish him every success in his new role.
